788th/859th BSs
Leonard McManus

Status: As C.O. of the 788th/859th BSs McManus had no regular crew. During the summer of 1944 he flew five B-24 missions and three C-47 missions. McManus and his squadron were sent DS to Italy to fly with the 885th BS under Munro McCloskey in December of 1944. They never returned to Harrington.
